A generation ago these sailors would be building boats in their backyards. Today however, most are time-poor through the demands of work and family.

Drawing from the considerable resources of its associated designers MTG presents here a range of designs selected for their low-cost-of-build but with a sharp focus on performance-cruising, value for money, and safety. All are carefully chosen for the quickest possible build times, and are of the easily-driven "developed panel" type.

Construction material is either MTG's in-house, lightweight, composite panels (or lightweight BS1088 Approved Gaboon marine plywood for tighter budgets).

MTG's composite panel techniques exceed by wide margins the existing industry-standard technology. Superior quality is achieved by vacuum-bagging structural panels in "full-boat-lengths", with one finished face, eliminating the usual cross-panel joints thus reducing building time, and eliminating external fairing altogether, and with it, the fairing compound's weight. The full-length parts are fed through our computer-controlled cutting machines.

Kits are available. Initially the program was to be limited, preference being given to sailors who wanted fully-completed boats. However, demand has exceeded MTG's building capacity so computer-pre-cut material kits, pre-cut and marked building frames, and the designers' building plans are available.
