Our
strength is the ability to custom-build high-quality boats of any design, in
any material and for any purpose. However hard we try to explain just what it is
that we do, we find that it is best understood by contrasting it with what we do
not do.
We
focus on creating one distinctive
project-boat after another, often from just the conceptual outlines of
discerning owners, because we are
not distracted by business models that focus around brand-marketing and the
marketing of serial boats from existing moulds.
We implement design and technology development eagerly and immediately, whereas
production boatbuilding is constrained by moulds and by the methods of
sub-component-assembly industries.
By contrast to moulded boats consisting of assembled parts, ours are a monocoque
structure, without joints to leak or fail, and the seamless fusion of composite
exotic fabrics in our best-yachts-programs' chain-plates, stanchion mounts,
rudder tubes, fore-beams, targa arches, davits, and so on, delivers tremendous
strength for the least weight and the highest quality.
Instead of moulds, we invest in versatile and advanced aids-to-manufacture such
as
computer controlled feed-cutting machines and
long-length vacuum tables, and in developing our methods - Investments in
cutting build times.
Owners no longer need to settle for a production boat, uncertain if it will
satisfy, out of the concern that custom boats take long to build.
