The 480 Sports has turned out to be a very popular choice among experienced catamaran clients with the second boat started before the first had even been launched. The hulls have near-plumb bows and short transom overhangs which means the 48'6" is "all-boat" not "all-ends". The resulting huge saloon and cockpit areas in this 48'6" overall length boat are comparable to those found in boats four to six feet longer.

480 Sports #1 floated on her lines and performs brilliantly under sail and power. We have retained the building strongbacks past use for boat #2 due to the popularity of this model and the encouraging level of enquiry.

performance-minded serious offshore cruiser. The longer and finer hulls
drive this boat at the speeds usually seen only on racing cats. Auxiliary power is provided by twin inboard diesels and the 480
Sports can also be built in survey for charter.
