There are numerous dominant race-winning boats, examples of this designer's talent. Racing successes by iconic boats span over twenty years starting in 1985 with Born To Run and still going today with boats like 'Raider' and 'Turning Point' winning or placing in most races they enter. Race cats may be trampoline or pod cats, with crew facilities if passage racing, or without if only entering regattas, trailer-able or rigidly built.  Building materials may range from utilitarian and finite-life to the most exotic.
